Including iconic  SELF PORTRAIT silver print, circa 1929, H 3-1/2", W 2-1/8", published on page 62 in James Mellow's book on Evans . 47 vintage photographs many with pencil annotations and exposure notes which appear to be in Evan's handwriting. Mellow had a personal relationship with Walker Evans and lived nearby. After Evan's death in 1975, James Mellow used the diaries, letters and contact sheets to create the major biography on Walker Evans in 1999.
